CLEVELAND — Sometimes, it’s hard keeping the kids under control while you’re watching the game. Progressive Field has a fix for that problem — the all-new Kid’s Clubhouse.

The walls between seven mezzanine level suites were removed to make way for the new area. The clubhouse features a slide, a ball, pit and several other kid friendly toys by Step 2.

The area will also feature a kid’s concession stand that serves meals catered for the young palette. Offerings include pizza, hot dogs, and Pepsi products at discounted prices.

Another area just outside the clubhouse will let children run bases and even play whiffle ball. They call it ‘Slugger’s Sand Lot.’

The best thing about the new area is that parents can still watch the game from the clubhouse. That means no more small televisions in the corner of the room.

In the past, the kid’s area was only utilized on the weekends. When construction is completed, the Kids’ Clubhouse will be available at every home game. It’s expected to open May 6th.

While every fan needs a ticket to Progressive Field, access to the new area is free. There are even special packages that include discounted prices for concessions, souvenirs, entry to the park, and even parking.
