LYNDHURST, Ohio — Legacy Village has a new tenant.
L.L. Bean has opened its first store in Ohio.
The brand already has a devoted following, with customers such as Julian Holley being a big fan of the sheets.
“They’re flannel, they’re really soft,” she said. “I’ve had them since I was born pretty much.”
The 16,000-square-foot facility sells everything you need to hike, fish, kayak and camp.
“I go backpacking and stuff,” future shopper Forrest Bacchi said. “And this is one of the stores that’s good for the outdoors.”
Often ranked as one of the best places to work, L.L. Bean is employing about 100 people.
“I think it will be awesome,” shopper Brianna Freeman said.
The grand opening happened at 9 a.m. Friday.
