CLEVELAND — It’s the day after Christmas and many gas stations have prices below $2 per gallon. But with all the demand, could it drop any more?

Most people at the pumps look at this as a late Christmas gift. No one is complaining. Just hoping the lower prices will continue into the new year.

According to the American Automobile Association, the average price for a gallon of regular is $2.19. That’s 22 cents cheaper than a week ago, and $1.08 less than it was at this time in 2013.

Missouri is the first state in 5 years to have a statewide average gas price below $2 per gallon. Let’s hope Ohio is next.
