CLEVELAND — Fans will notice a lot of changes to Progressive Field this season, from food to a new bar seats to decoration. It won’t take long to see that this isn’t your daddy’s ballpark anymore.
Formerly known as Gate C, the Right Field Gate has been shifted to enter the ballpark with a picturesque view of the field.
The Corner bar is the new indoor/outdoor, two-story bar complete with fire pit, multiple standing room areas, and 40 beers on tap.
New seating areas are scattered all over the outfield. The right field terraces have been created for groups, standing room only. The bullpens have been moved in center field with three rows of seats between the pitchers and the field giving fans a new spot to heckle.
The old visitor’s bullpen is open to fans who will be ushered in and out during the game based on demand.
